Best Lunch Restaurants in North Nashville

Lex was our waitress. Her service of our group of 12 was outstanding. We appreciated the ability to pay on individual checks. The food was outstanding. Our orders ranged from salads to full dinner pork chops. The person with allergies was cared for attentively. Though high energy, we could converse among each other, which is rare in most restaurants. Will definitely be back!

Everyone we encountered at Evelyn’s was so attentive and kind. We got the potato croquettes, Brussel sprouts, lobster ravioli, short rib, and the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Everything was AMAZING, we will definitely be back to try the brunch.

Talk about Southern Hospitality! Christie (sorry if I spell it wrong!) was an absolute rock star! She provided excellent service with a smile, gave fantastic recommendations, and even offered us a drink to go. She was training a new staff person and her patience was evident. This is an unassuming little place with a great menu. Their Gouda grits are thick and cheesy, but for me their biscuits were the standout. I tried their midtown biscuits and they were 10/10. My husband, who LOVES chicken and biscuits got their Nashville Hot chicken biscuits, with a side of gravy to smother on top. He kept raving about how good it was. After dinner later that day (at an excellent restaurant) he said the best bite of the day was the chicken biscuit. Heck, that might be his favorite of the trip! Would definitely come back for a round two, highly recommend this place. Yum!
