Porterhouse food consistently great! Had 3 course lunch menu ~ beetroot starter confit duck main and lemon sponge and custard ~ all well cooked and lovely ~ duck was standout course As always Fran and her staff were excellent ~ always make you feel welcome and very special ~ lovely experience eating here

We just love this restaurant. We have been 6 times and it's our go to place. The food staff and the overall first class service and food makes it for us the best place in town. We had the most wonderful server called Grace who is a credit to the company and hope they appreciate her.

We booked to have a farewell dinner before my daughter moves away - the table was perfect when we arrived with lovely staff explaining the menu options. We had cocktails and mocktails to drink which were all beautifully decorated and a house red wine which was delicious! We had the sharing platter and bread to start and then duck, chicken, mussels, crab and prawns with dauphinoise, ratatouille, green beans, figs and chips. All were absolutely outstanding. We finished off with the desert selection and coffees. I would highly recommend due to the food, wine, staff and atmosphere - faultless!!!
