Food is a serious matter, but here I discovered that it can also be playful while still maintaining its integrity. You never get the sense that the chef is overdoing anything, as each dish is treated with respect, and to me, that’s what sets art apart from mere luxury. Chef Pattis is truly an artist. Based on my experience with other restaurants at this level, this is definitely in my top three, and one of the best reasons to return to beautiful Dresden. The owners have a real handle on up to the minute hospitality. Good beer (obviously ) excellent food and superb service. I can't recommend this wonderful establishment enough.
