The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets. A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank. Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. The main bar has hop-draped painted beams, a green dado, and stools against the bar where they serve a beer called Oxney Ale specially brewed for the pub by Westerham Brewery. To the right is a cosy eating area with wheelback chairs-- ideal for a banquette with friends around a few long tables.

Wow what a fabulous evening at the Lazy Lobster in Whitstable. Welcoming and friendly service and super delicious food. They serve tapas style, sharing dishes and we chose a few…. Potatoes with anchovies, cauliflower fritti with hot honey and mint, sourdough bread with a seaweed butter and the amazing Chargrilled masala prawns. Each dish was outstanding and we loved it all. Wow and 10/10. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes

Had not been here before but heard good things. Food was amazing, our waitress was funny and attentive. One staff member was a bit rude but other than that they all spoke and helped with a surprise birthday cake for our friend. Was welcomed to sit out in the garden after the meal. Venue was lovely, clean and well looked after. Will definitely be back.
