After years of talking about dining at Casa Sensei, we were delighted to finally do so, and it entirely lived up to its stellar reputation. We were treated to a pleasant table right on the scenic canal, where we could watch the gondolas come and go on the water. The receptionist and our servers were friendly, cordial, responsive, and efficient, creating a great dining experience. And our meals were spectacular. The charred octopus was succulent and flavorful, tempura shrimp were plentiful and delicious, an ahi tuna salad was fresh and tasty, and the butter chicken with rice — a house specialty — was to die for. Our fellow diners loved their shrimp pad Thai and steak fried rice, which came in substantial portions. An excellent and diverse wine list offered perfect accompaniments to our meal. Prices were very reasonable, especially compared to the many high-end restaurants along Las Olas Boulevard. We could see why this place is always among the top-rated restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. We are eager to return.

We have been to Greece many times and Theos comes the closest to our memorable meals in Greece. We celebrated Mother’s Day (eve) at Theo's Estiatorio and once again it was absolutely outstanding. I had the lamb chops, while my wife and brother-in-law both ordered the branzino, and honestly we were all competing over whose dish was better. Every bite was flavorful, perfectly prepared, and memorable. The Greek salad and octopodi appetizers were excellent, and dessert — Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts along with the baklava cheesecake — was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. Despite how incredibly busy the restaurant was for Mother’s Day (eve),the service was spectacular and the management warm and welcoming. Theo’s has truly become our go-to restaurant for special occasions.

Surprisingly good for a tourist area. Lobster quesadilla was amazing. Guacamole was amazing. Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable. A nice surprise for us locals and I would definitely come back.
