Chandler’s opened it’s doors in December of 1999 behind the historical Symons General Store building. It’s a cozy place with only 50 seats in the main dining room & 10 seats at the bar. When real estate is too tough to find - it’s standing room only! For a change of scenery, guests can enjoy dining in the wine cellar where they are surrounded by the 4,000 bottle collection that serves both the restaurant and Symons General Store. In the warmer months, guests can choose to dine outside, on Chandler’s brick courtyard.

    This is truly a 5 star experience. We were there on May Day and enjoyed the water view, the helpful and attentive service and delicious food. Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad and succulent locally sourced whitefish with French fries. A bottle of Sauvignon blanc was a perfect accompaniment. Thank you Pier staff!

    All staff was so professional and outstanding! I had Kayla for my waitress and she was superb! I definitely will be dining again at the Vintage Chophouse when I visit the area. I should have dined there all my days that I stayed in Petoskey. I live in Ohio and can't wait for my next visit in September. The Chef and All Staff "behind the scenes" deserve a huge Thank You! I had the French Onion Soup and the Walleye...Fantastic and delicious!! The soup had was so flavorful and scrumptious! The Walleye was exquisite and Devine. The temperature and texture was perfect; hot and flakiness of fish was magnificent!! See you again in September! Thank you to the whole crew.
