The Caucus Club, located at the Congress Street level of the iconic Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish supper club featuring two distinct dining spaces, an historic bar and live Jazz. The North entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site. The balance of the menu features seafood and eclectic dishes that change with the seasons. Private event spaces abound, with unique menus to mark the occasion.     Everything was great-- our server, Bill, was very attentive, the food was delicious, and our cocktails really hit. The lobster bisque was one of the best we've had. Our entrees -- Bronzed Salmon and Seafood Roll -- were even better than expected, and the desserts -- Creme Brulee and Media Luna - - were impeccable. We will be back!!

    This is our “go to” for consistent fine food, excellent service and polished ambiance. The Maître d’ gives everyone a genuinely warm welcome upon arrival. The staff is attentive and the waiters are well informed, professional and offer truly first class service without being intrusive or overbearing. A classic steakhouse menu has a wonderful selection of meats as well as seafood items as well as an amazing Pasta Bolognese. We have been there countless times and have never had a bad meal or service that was anything short of outstanding.

    From the moment we walked in to the very last bite, everything about our experience was exceptional. The hostess set the tone immediately, warm, welcoming and genuinely kind. Our waiter (Jeovonie)was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel completely taken care of the entire evening. And the Chef, absolutely incredible! Every dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can truly tell there’s pride and passion behind every plate that comes out of the kitchen. It’s rare to have a seamless dining experience from start to finish but this was exactly that. Thank you to the entire team for making our business dinner so memorable. We will be coming back!
