Porterhouse food consistently great! Had 3 course lunch menu ~ beetroot starter confit duck main and lemon sponge and custard ~ all well cooked and lovely ~ duck was standout course As always Fran and her staff were excellent ~ always make you feel welcome and very special ~ lovely experience eating here

Sunday lunch with unlimited Yorkshire puddings and gravy. The Beef was melt in the mouth. Everything was delicious. Our servers were really friendly and attentive. My first visit and I’ll definitely go back, soon hopefully

What an amazing experience, from our arrival to the last course we could not fault the restaurant and their staff one bit. All our serving staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, explaining all about the food and wine and advising how we should eat the food to enjoy it the best. The food was so delicious and although the portions are small the are perfect size and after all courses we did not come away feeling hungry. The restaurant is in such a beautiful G1 listed building and it is very sympatheticaly presented. Our trip to the restaurant was part of a wedding gift so we will remember our experience for a long time.

The food and service were excellent. The short rib of beef was outstanding and the wine pairings were spot on
