Great experience!! I haven’t been in awhile and the chef Paul was si funny and entertaining. Dinner and a show! So worth it! Food was very good, he made sure that my daughter’s food was prepared as she needed some spices not added due to allergies. Thank you chef Paul!!!

I had an amazing experience at Zama. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, the service was attentive and professional without ever feeling overwhelming, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients, and full of flavor. You can really tell there’s a lot of care and passion behind both the kitchen and the overall dining experience. The cocktails and wine selection were also excellent. It’s the kind of place where you go for dinner and end up wanting to stay all night. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in San Diego — highly recommended!

We visited AKA in the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter to celebrate a birthday and were thoroughly impressed. The hostess seated us in an intimate circular booth, which set the perfect tone for the evening. We loved the trendy Asian-style decor and the vibrant nightclub-meets-restaurant atmosphere—even the waitstaff was exceptionally well-dressed. Our waitress, Kelsey J, provided impeccable service from start to finish. For drinks, we enjoyed the refreshing Ube Colada and Lychee Martini. The food was equally standout; the Pork Belly Bao Buns, Sunset Rubi sushi roll, and Shrimp Pad Thai were all excellent. We finished the night with the Ube Cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend AKA for anyone looking for an amazing dining experience in downtown San Diego.
