Great service and menu options were perfect! Brunch was great and so was dinner! Upstairs has more energy with music and vibe, think hanging wisteria. Great option to watch the game. Downstairs more traditional open-air restaurant setting. Great easy, rustic vibe. Great location in the gaslamp.

Calling all vegans and non-vegans alike! If you are looking for a place with bomb comfort food and drinks then Kindred is a must go to! I used to live in San Diego and this was my favorite place to eat so every time I come back I always go there at least a couple of times! The ambience is amazing the food is seriously delish and the cocktails ... I mean it's a ten out of ten for me! Even my non-vegan friends will happily join me there! Just go there, you will not be disappointed!

This was one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever experienced. I was born and raised into a big Italian family, straight from Italy. I'm very critical about Italian food. I tend to not eat it out because it's never prepared the way I am use to. From the bruschetta appetizer to the entrée and espresso, it was perfection. The service was incredible. Our waiter was right on top of everything. We were there earlier so there were only a few other tables that were occupied, but we did not even have to raise our hand for anything. He checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing OK. Very friendly and we even engaged in a little conversation about where our families were from. This is why I love going to Italian restaurants that are truly authentic. When you have a staff that are from Italy, you know you're entering into a warm and caring environment with good food. Five stars from me! Definitely will come back

Great service and great value. Took advantage of the happy hour. The 50% off ($5) appetizers are incredible deal. Especially the Artichoke/cheese dip, shrimp, scampi, and toasted raviolis.
