Best Restaurants for Foodies in Bushey Heath

Been visiting St Albans Lussmans for lunch with friends for many years and never been disappointed. At this time of year November the restaurant is warm and cosy and no matter how many or few there are dining the atmosphere is very good. Also a shout out for the quality and cleanliness of the rest rooms. Always a good indicator of a restaurant that cares about the details.

I visited The Ledbury for a solo dining experience, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked through the door, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. Dining alone can sometimes feel a little awkward, but Harry, my waiter, and the entire team made the experience feel so personal, warm, and genuinely special. The hospitality was nothing short of exceptional, striking that perfect balance between impeccable service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was beautifully executed, full of creativity, and a reminder of why The Ledbury has such an outstanding reputation. It was a truly remarkable dining experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of the evening was being offered a tour of the kitchen, which I eagerly accepted. Getting a glimpse behind the scenes of what goes into everything made the experience even more memorable. What really sets The Ledbury apart, though, is its people. I arrived as a solo diner and left feeling like part of the family. That is something truly rare in fine dining, and something I’ll never forget. Brilliant Sunday roast. Beef cooked to perfection! Amazing wines and beers too.

All dishes were freshly made, inviting and delicious. Happy that theÿ catered for dishes without onions. Ambience, service was good and overall very good value. Highly recommended.
