Best Restaurants for Groups in Downtown, Austin

We came to Red Ash to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and the experience exceeded every expectation. I’ve been trying to get a reservation here for years, and after finally making it in, I can confidently say it was worth the wait. Growing up on the East Coast, we really miss great Italian food, and it’s hard to find in Austin. Red Ash absolutely blew us away. Every dish was exceptional, the service was warm and attentive, and the staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel special on her birthday. She even said it was one of her favorite meals she’s ever had in Austin, and everyone at the table left happy and impressed. From the food to the hospitality to the overall experience, everything was phenomenal. Red Ash is officially one of my favorite restaurants in Austin, and I can’t wait to come back.

A cozy ambience. It’s tucked on the 7th floor of a hotel, so if you don’t know that it could be confusing to find. We had the Lamb lollipops as an appetizer that were amazing. The Chilean Sea Bass was also done exceptionally well. The only downside is that it’s hard to have a conversation it’s so loud.

Very laid-back but fun place food was good. Bottomless mimosas were amazing. The service was a little slow, even though it wasn’t that busy.

Awesome staff and good ambience. Went there with the crew after the marathon, good times!
