Excellent Roast Dinner. Great portion of vegetables for a change. Lots of other pubs seem to skimp on veg! They had a trio of meats roast dinner on the special board. I had a duo of meats which were very tasty.

What a fabulous place to go out to eat. Small and very cosy, comfortable and warm, a lovely atmosphere. The food was great, delicious and well portioned, a good selection of interesting small and large plates that we mixed up. Particularly liked the idea of small pudding portions - plum crumble, the perfect ending. The service was fantastic; polite, informative, attentive without being intrusive and very patient. Thank you. Loved it, will definitely return!
