What an absolute delight!!! It may be tucked away in the middle of nowhere but the food is tres magnifique. The food truly was amazing (best souffle I have ever eaten). Service was so friendly and impeciable. Only bad point was restaurant was extremely cold - not what you need on a cold night. Would I go back there again? In a heart beat.

The souffle was delicious. As was the Angus steak. Lovely ambience with music at just the right level to be able to talk comfortably and be heard. Really enjoyed the evening and would highly recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of fine food & wine, together with terrific service at Donovan’s seated at a table looking out on to the St Kilda Esplanade. The restaurant was fully occupied creating a very pleasant atmosphere but did not in any way hamper the service which was superb. Our waiter, Jonathan was excellent, professional, friendly, engaging and helpful constantly checking in, topping up our wine and water glasses. The food was a standout as one would expect from a restaurant of this calibre. The wine list at Donovan’s is exceptional. Highly recommended.
