Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Tubac

The Grill at Hacienda del Sol is one of Tucson's finest. Beautiful views at sunset from a charming, historic dining room. Varied menu and the slections we had were excellent. So was the service. We celebrated our anniversary there and it was an ideal location for a special occasion.

Great place on 4th Ave - not to be missed. Took out of town guests & everyone was very impressed by all the restaurant had to offer. All loved the ambiance of Nex & Afterlife - the old brick walls & the woodwork of Afterlife had so much character. The food was very inventive & tasty. The carrot small plate was to die for & the burger was the best one guest had ever had. Another had the elote salad which she raved about. We did not have a cocktail although the. menu looked very interesting. Service was impeccable - very attentive. Connor, our waiter was the best. Raj the owner checked with us at the beginning & end of the meal giving us the philosophy behind the restaurant. Cush, the front of the house Mgr gave us a tour of Afterlife after dinner. Strongly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

Amazing food experience with locally sourced food. Our waitress was great!

The waiter was exception. Very attentive, accommodating and prompt. Restaurant wasn't busy and was very quiet. Food was very good. The Ahi and appetizer was very fresh. The ribeye was perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were perfect.

We had the add on chef experience and what a fantastic experience that was. The chef came out and personally talked about the food and where it came from and you could see the passion about the food she presented to us. Mel was the Chef. Wonderful lady. The waitress was Maeve and again, super kind and let my son try a few wines before he decided on one. Thw food was spectacular, especially for a hotel restaurant. 5 stars for sure.
