Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Carlsbad

Food is great, cocktails are awesome and the venue is laid back a comfortable. Highly recommend it but parking can be a challenge.

I reserved this spot for our anniversary. Great restaurant with a wonderful casual vibe. Its a small setting about 25 people around the counter where you can see all the unbelievable food being prepared. The service was great. They had a great wine and beverage selection and the experience starts as soon as you enter the open air lounge area. It sets the mood for the entire experience. The food was great. It was a blend of local seafood and vegetables/fruits that you wouldnt imagine to put together into courses but work incredibly well. Everything presented was beautiful, intricate and delicious. The staff made us feel comfortable and were very eager to answer our questions about the menu and what was being presented. Each course was presented by a different member of the team so it was great to meet many of the talented staff at Lilo. At the end they gave us a handwritten card signed by the staff which made our anniversary evening extra special

Thank you to Christian, Gavin, Collin and James. Food is perfect- croque madam is the best bite of food anywhere. Please never take it off the menu. Love the tonique drink so much, and the prawns are excellent. Ambience is so elegant and warm. Very big thank you to the individuals listed above who make the experience really welcoming and friendly, and make Jeune all the better to return to time and time again. Very happy to see Christian is back, place isn’t the same without him. Collin is very friendly and James is such an excellent bartender with great taste. Special thank you to Gavin who has been our waiter for 3 of our wedding anniversaries- he and Christian really make Jeune shine for us. Thank you for giving us some of our fondest and most memorable experiences to celebrate milestones in our life. Jeune is our favorite restaurant and we are very blessed to have such a spot where we live. Gavin is truly embodies the elegance you expect from a Michelin starred establishment.
