Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Carrboro

We had little bull on our list for a while and which Chef being on Top Chef we decided to finally come down. I am so happy it not only lived up to the hype, but surpassed it. The barbacoa was fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Our waiter, David, was incredible. We did the family style dining experience and it was perfect. I have a gluten allergy, and they were very accommodating!

A consistently fabulous dining experience. I’ve had so many great meals here that I chose to drive over an hour to come again for my son’s college graduation dinner. I love that there are often choices across different types of cuisine as well as homemade pasta. Seasonal ingredients and a lot of care go into every dish they put out. I highly recommend it.

Seraphine continues to be our favorite restaurant in Durham! We celebrated my husband's college graduation, his birthday, and mother's day with a long and leisurely dinner with our parents recently. One of the most delicious, fun, and memorable nights we've all had. Everything was amazing but I would say the dragos style oysters, catfish with red beans and rice, and a DURM 75 to drink are my can't miss recommendations!

One of our favorite dining experiences in Durham and probably the Triangle! Always a unique food experience that isn't just an expensive version of something you could get somewhere else. We always experience flavors and combinations that we can't find elsewhere. Servers are not just knowledgeable about the food being created, but also about the ingredients and the accompanying wine/sake tastings (if you chose that experience). It is an intentionally "slow" meal, which we also enjoy for special occasions, and it is always quiet so you can have a conversation. While it is not for an everyday budget, it is a great experience if you are looking to splurge on yourself!
