Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Centerbrook

We celebrated our anniversary at Millwright's, what a wonderful place. The food was excellent, fresh ingredients, thoughtfully prepared. An overall great experience. We'll definitely go back.

The restaurant is very cozy, request a booth if you can. The service is outstanding, and the menu is unique. I can recommend the roasted beets on toast and the tuna wontons for shareables. Generous drinks. and attentive staff.

My husband and I were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary. We were greeted at the door by a member of the staff who wished us a happy anniversary. I requested specific seats at the bar and they were set up for us prior to our arrival with menus. The bartender/server (Breanna) greeted us and immediately offered us a glass of sparkling wine to toast our anniversary. She was attentive to us throughout our dinner, explaining the menu, checking in to ensure we were enjoying our dinner. As always, it was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed the bitter greens salad and pork belly starters. My husband had the halibut entree and I had the monkfish. Both were delicious, although I felt the monkfish was a bit salty. We finished with the pumpkin crème brûlée — outstanding!! Thank you for a beautifully memorable dinner.

It’s late October so we were a handful of diners there. Lunch was lovely and our party really enjoyed the place. We will definitely add this restaurant to our rotation.
