Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Kensington, Calgary / Southern Alberta

Vero Bistro is always such a wonderful experience. We cannot think of a better place to celebrate those special moments.

The Wilde on 27 certainly made my partner’s birthday special. From the decadent and intricately plated Chef’s Menu, to accommodating my request for a quiet patio corner of the restaurant, topping it off with a birthday candle to celebrate the occasion, it was perfection! Thank you so much to our server Leannie and to Chef Leroy, who even came over to our table to make sure everything was according to his standards. Kudos to the whole team!

From someone who has solid fine dining gastronomy background in France, I would say the entire package at Gatsby's is probably the best I have had in Calgary so far. Food is phenomenal. Service is very detailed and complete. The ambiance is great. Space is a bit on the smaller side but for a business operational perspective, I think it is smart to keep the space not too big to start. I miss the cheese cart part that is normally present in French michelin star restaurants so this could be something to consider in the future. Overall, it is outstanding in what it offers and I will for sure go back when their menu changes.

I go to Flower and Wolf multiple times a year. The service is never rushed, the servers are always polite, kind,attentive, but not intrusive. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing and welcoming. Conversation can be carried out, without raised voices. Truly amazing and pleasant.
