Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Pacific Beach

The tuna carving on Thursdays is a date-night-must for seafood lovers! We went to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. The food was amazing, service was the best I’ve had in San Diego, and the ambiance is cool and eclectic.

What an over the top, amazing, true dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the waitstaff super friendly and knowledgeable. They put you at ease in what could have been a stuffy experience. There were so many fabulous, different, aesthetically pleasing courses. When we left, we were very full- which is often not the case when fine dining. If you want to have an extraordinary dining experience, Lucien is it, no question about it. Nowhere else in all of Southern California will you have such an experience!

Our waiter was well informed about the food and portion size, with good recommendations. The sashimi tuna, cucumber salad, butternut squash dumplings, and lamb Szechuan noodles were excellent

We had a wonderful dining experience at Serea! The wood-fired swordfish and octopus were absolutely outstanding. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and incredibly delicious. We mentioned that we were visiting on our honeymoon, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special with their warm and thoughtful hospitality. Everyone on the team was hardworking, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Thank you for making our honeymoon dinner such a memorable experience. We would love to come back someday!
