We were staying in Rye and booked the Mermaid for our last night meal and we weren't disappointed. It's a lovely old building fabulous ambience, the staff were excellent can't do enough for you and the food was exceptional with a special mention for the Lime Souffle. We look forward to return at a later date.

We had Sunday oysters and Sunday roast on Sunday 7 June. The lamb was delicious, and the pork belly too. We had cocktails there before and that’s when we fell in love with the place. We will definitely be back!!

We booked this as a birthday celebration and it exceeded expectations. The service was warm and attentive, and the dégustation menu was exceptional from start to finish. Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere, and lots of thoughtful touches throughout the evening. We’d highly recommend for a special occasion
