    We love this restaurant and are regulars. Best place for Sunday roast in our local area and we love that they use the best produce available and mainly local ingredients. The staff - reception, bar and restaurant - are outstanding, everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We have not stayed at the hotel. but I am sure it is also excellent. The venue and location is exceptional - 15th-century country house located in the quiet hamlet of Redcoats Green set within landscaped gardens and is surrounded by rolling countryside with scenic views. The food is fantastic and we neve had a bad meal there - mainly modern British dishes and the wine list has a great choice of local and global wines.

    Lovely rustic yet modern interior. Cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Loved the aromatic smells of the kitchen. My sole was perfectly prepared as was the onglet steak. Absolutely delicious. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional.
