Best Restaurants with a Scenic View in Carnelian Bay

We had a wonderful time as usual. Edgewood staff never disappoints Our waiter Luke was attentive and well versed on the menu.

Friday’s Station Restaurant in Tahoe delivered an absolutely outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional — every dish was prepared perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can truly tell the kitchen takes pride in both quality and attention to detail. From the appetizers to dessert, everything exceeded expectations. What made the evening even better was the top-notch service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional without ever being overbearing. They made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in and ensured every part of our experience was enjoyable. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines incredible food, breathtaking Tahoe atmosphere, and such outstanding customer service all in one place. If you are visiting Tahoe and want a memorable dining experience, Friday’s Station is a must-visit. We will definitely be coming back.

Always one of our “go to” places if we are in the Tahoe area. It’s a bit like going back in time, and that’s a good thing. The ambience hasn’t changed much in the 40 some odd years we’ve either stayed or eaten there. You won’t be disappointed. 

Great food, ambiance, service, PLUS an unbeatable view of Lake Tahoe. We thoroughly enjoyed the place, all four of us. I had the venison loin--sometimes a risky venture--but this was superbly cooked, tender and with a delicious lingonberry sauce. We also shared the roasted Brussels sprouts, which can turn out tough. These were perfect and they let us change the cheese from gorgonzola to creamy goat cheese. My wife really enjoyed the scallops with braised pork belly, and our friends enjoyed their dishes. The service was attentive without being annoying, and as noted above, the atmosphere and view are unbeatable. Great spot and we'll go again next time in Tahoe City.
