Best Restaurants with a Scenic View in Poway / Rancho Bernardo

We had a lovely meal. We happen to go on a Tuesday night, which turned out to be date night. They had a special going for $74.95 per couple which included two entrées and a bottle of wine. We upgraded at $10 each and got the beef dishes. My husband got raised short rib and I got a New York strip with pepper sauce… Both were excellent as was the bottle of Pinot Noir. The waiter was very attentive and we most enjoyed our visit. 

We had a wonderful lunch here on the patio with our dog. Our server, Jose, was absolutely a joy. He made us laugh, we had fun conversation, he had great suggestions and was super accommodating. Our food was delicious. We will definitely come back!

Our server, Jackson, was very knowledgeable, courteous and personable. We enjoyed the view of the ocean. Violet, our hostess, also very attentive and professional.

Late night dinner on a Monday night was excellent. Server (forgot his name) was really efficient and helpful. He made a great recommendation on a Willamette Valley Pinot Grigio. Mussels were unbelievable with slightly spicy sauce that had us asking for 3 more bread baskets to soak up the sauce. Other starters were good though thought the crab cakes a bit doughy. Ahi tuna and halibut were excellent. It was a quiet Monday night nad we had the place to ourselves to enjoy the mild October night in Del Mar!

We had a reservation was at 9:30 but didnt het seated for 20 min or so but after that everything was great. Our server was wonderful, our food came out fast and was good. Loved the views, being so close to the ocean and being able to valet park.
