And our server Karl was outstanding. We even had a chocolate delivered to table with candle in for friends 70th birthday. Lucien our host was amazing and treated us so well throughout our visit with the lovely Sophie providing a secondary host. The menu was excellent as usual and well enjoyed the haggis fritters as a shared pre starter then on to the soft shelled crab and goat’s cheese. Mains were Sunday roast (chicken and beef which were excellent particular credit to the cauliflower cheese. Finally baked Alaska (shared) which was beautifully constructed with underlying lemon base.
