- VvadimNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSemolina in Red Bank is exactly the kind of restaurant this town needed. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this wasn't just another Italian spot — the farm-to-table approach genuinely shows in every dish. You can taste the difference when ingredients are actually fresh and sourced with care rather than pulled from a freezer. We started with a few shared plates, and the produce alone was a standout — vibrant, seasonal, clearly local. The pasta was made in-house and cooked perfectly, with sauces that felt balanced rather than heavy or overly salty like you get at so many "red sauce" places. Every course felt thoughtful, like the kitchen actually cares about quality over just turning tables. Service matched the food. Our server was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to make recommendations based on what we liked. Even during a busy night, the pacing of our meal was perfect — no rushing, no long awkward gaps between courses. It's rare to find a restaurant that nails both the food and the experience around it, but Semolina does both really well. Farm-to-table can be a buzzword at a lot of places, but here it actually means something. Highly recommend for a date night, a family dinner, or just treating yourself to a genuinely well-made meal in Red Bank. We'll definitely be back.More infoSemolina Restaurant$$$$• Farm-to-table• Red Bank•4.7
