- JJayGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIll start with the service......Excellent. Our server-helper-waiter was "J". He was on the ball. He knew the flow of how things go. He knew the menu and took ownership (saying "my steaks, my starters") We had the popover. I was a little nervous about the size of it because it was enormous and I didnt want to get full before the entree. It was just perfect. Light and tasted just like a popover should taste. It came with whipped butter and blueberry jam. We also have the brie. I had the Ny serloin entree. It was cooked to perfection. My wife was going to have the 1/2 bird but J mentioned that they have a special of fillet (beef) topped with lobster and she went to that immediately. Again, cooked perfectly. We had the vanilla creme brulee for dessert and to say the least, we were full. Each of us had about 1/4 of our meals left over to take home. The food was great. Service was better. Thanks for the nice meal.More infoThe Grill Room & Bar$$$$• Steakhouse• Portland•4.6

- EEricGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined on Apr 27, 2026This was our first time dining at Thames Landing and we couldn't be more happy with our experience. The restaurant is extremely clean, that staff was polite, attentive, and energetic, and the food was excellent! This is a part of Portland that more people need to get to. The Old Port is great, don't get me wrong, but take a short stroll down Thames Street as it's worth the short walk! What a great location and environment. Put Thames Landing down as your new MUST TRY restaurant. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. We are looking forward to going back soon!!More infoThames Landing$$$$• American• Portland•4.5
