I cannot recommend DanDan enough! Unique and delicious dishes with generous portion sizes for family-style dining. Menu highlights are the beef chow fun, smashed cucumbers, wonton soup, and moo goo gai pan. Our server Andrew was knowledgable, and was able to give tailored recommendations based on our dietary restrictions and timing. Overall, DanDan is a great eatery for couples, friends, or families alike - might be a little bit pricy, but more than worth it. Be sure to make a reservation as it can fill up quick.

Onesto is a great place to walk to if you're staying in or near the 3rd ward Milwaukee. It is especially nice if you need gluten free options, which are plentiful. The vibe is so much fun with the lights outside the window and the high table top chairs and tables inside. The bar is also thoughtful in that there is no TV! People actually can hang out or just converse as they enjoy food and/or beverages. Onesto serves great Italian American food without the sticker price of downtown steakhouses. We noticed that groups can reserve space on the upper level as well. We appreciated our waiter, Anthony, who made us feel welcome!

The service was excellent. The food was absolutely amazing. We are pretty harsh critics about food and everything we ordered was exceptional, wonderful flavors with a good amount of spice. It was just spicy enough. The environment was warm and decorated beautifully.

As I have done in the past, I brought a friend to Aya, who had never been there before, and who was visiting from out of town. They were very impressed with the ambience, as well as the quality of the food. Amanda was our server and despite being busy with multiple other tables, she was attentive, engaging an overall excellent reflection on the restaurant. Aya continues to be my favorite “new” restaurant in Milwaukee.
