    Great local taverna in Wickford nestled on Academy Cove. Great summer vibe. Friendly staff. Great food and beverage. Staff is friendly and attentive. They didn’t rush us despite the Wickford Art Festival crowds. Five of us. Calamari, Tavern Mussels (appetizer but ample portion for light dinner), Fish & Chips, Cape Cod salad with Ahi Tuna, Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with Grilled Chicken, and Mediterranean Octopus. A shout out to the Octopus! Grilled and served over risotto, very tender, seasoning could be notched up a bit but recognize most restaurants are aiming for the middle of the road palette, otherwise a great addition to the menu.

    We really enjoyed our evening at Water Street Kitchen and Bar. We decided to sit at the outside bar where all the action was. It was a busy and bustling evening which was entertaining to watch. The female bar tender was very attentive and accommodating regardless of the fact she was very busy. She was cool as a cucumber despite all of the demands on her. We had oysters, clams casino, and a mango chili sushi roll. All three were fabulous. We also shared a delicious arugula and beet salad. The view of the marina was fantastic and the upbeat busy atmosphere was fabulous. Valet guys were quick, efficient and friendly. The two hostesses were dressed beautifully and were sweet and attentive. I would definitely go back to Water Street Kitchen and Bar. I hope to introduce it to my group of friends. Nicely done!

    What a great meal at a beautiful setting. We started with Bloody Marys and then breakfast with a hash bowl and egg plate. Yummy. The waitress gave us a wonderful balance of attention and privacy.

    Our server Lilly was outstanding. She didn’t rush us but was attentive. One in our party has food allergies and she was very careful to accommodate. The food was good and the Bloody Mary was perfect. Beautiful setting.
