We had brunch before the Citadel and it was pretty good. The lettuce wraps and fries were good as was the southwest breakfast bowl. Note to the breakfast bowl menu description - specify how the eggs are served - it would’ve saved the trouble of returning the dish to the kitchen to have it corrected from over easy to scrambled (which I requested at the time of ordering). The server was sweet and professional.

Bernadette’s is a must visit spot in Edmonton. Their team is attentive, friendly and welcoming. The menu centres the beauty and culture of connecting with food from the land, while honoring the special medicine of family recipes passed down in a new and elevated way. I visited in my second trimester of pregnancy and the Restaurant Manager Amber was very considerate, making sure that I was comfortable with certain ingredients and well cared for. Huy ch q’u to Bernadette’s and their whole team for showcasing Indigenous Excellence and Lifting up our Culture in a good way. 🙌🏽
