Best Healthy Restaurants in Whalley

We went for the seasonal summer lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. My husband had the cured mackerel and I had the whipped feta. We both thoroughly enjoyed them. Next was the pie for hubby, beef and ale and it was packed with meat. I had the flat iron steak and it was cooked to perfection. We weren’t intending on having a third course but we saw the desserts and couldn’t resist. I had coconut rice pudding and the better half had tiramisu. After all that food it was home for a nana nap but we will definitely return. It was fabulous. We like that you can see the kitchen and the chef’s working away. Everyone is so friendly. It’s a little gem in lower Darwen but walk through the doors and you could be in the centre of Manchester. Book in…you won’t be disappointed!’

Don’t normally write reviews but food and service was 11/10, price very good for a Tuesday with the pizza and pasta deal. Was very busy than it normally is due to deal. Will definitely be coming back

Absolutly outstanding food , loved every course , talented chef and presentation. , super clean , lovely spa smell to the lounges and restaurant .. only slight problem - a lot of flies landing on us whilst eating , these could be eliminated - before guests arrive - discreetly ., but not a moan as the the staff couldn’t be more delight & helpful xx
