Best Historic Restaurants in Milwaukie

Trying to find a central location for our group to celebrate Mother's Day, Jake's was perfectly centered. On arrival we were quickly seated and presented with the daily specials. The staff was friendly and helpful, food was outstanding and our server was very attentive. A busy holiday where restaurants are completely overwhelmed, Jake's was the perfect choice! Thank you for making our Mother's Day a relaxing and memorable one.

This was our 4th Mother’s Day celebrating at Nostrana, and, as usual, the service, drinks, and food were all out of this world. Everything is so fresh and flavorful and perfectly timed. Our server was also super patient and informative, as we aren’t super well versed in coursing and fine dining norms. The crowd was diverse in age and race, which was so refreshing. Nostrana is a really special place.

We went for lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day a day early so we could skip the crowds. We had a window table with a spectacular view of the river, Mt Hood, Mt St Helen’s and surrounding green. Everyone from the valet to the wait staff were very cordial and accommodating. We ordered off the dinner menu and I had the prix fixe salmon with crab and is was so delicious. My daughter-in-law had the New York strip steak. She said hers was superb too. Our cocktails were divine as well. Our server knew when to leave us alone and when to check in. We were able to be leisurely. It was a great lunch and we had the best time. Can’t wait to go back!

Another amazing dinner at LeChon. We celebrated a birthday and our son and girlfriend were in town so we expected a great experience. It was just that and more. The Peruvian Chicken Bites could have been my meal. Four of us ordered the steak options: Hanger Steak and the rest the Picanha Steak, my husband had the Smoked Duck. Everything was outstanding. Well seasoned, cooked to perfection. The thing I liked the most is the service and how everyone team plays. Working together to make sure the customer feels well cared for and food delivered timely. Excellent restaurant all around. Thank you for making our evening special.
