    My wife and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful evening. Meal was delicious but the service made our experience even more memorable. Only wish I could remember our waiter’s name to give him a special call out.. highly recommended!!

    The steak frites were amazing! Kaleb helped me pick out the perfect wine pairing to go along with my meal! I highly recommend trying out church and union when you’re in uptown!

    The experience at Customshop was everything you would hope they deliver and more. We had heard great things about this restaurant for years, and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. The flavors were outstanding and very well thought out. Each menu item was perfectly balanced and delivered in its own right. I think that some restaurants lose the plot when they aim to bring something unique to the table. The minds behind the menu at Customshop know how to beautifully balance unique and complex flavors and deliver a plate that all eaters will enjoy, and the most curious of eaters will really appreciate. Many menu items were delicate but substantial, elegant and wholesome. Every part of each bite was memorable and worth it for everyone to try. To eat, we got the: wagyu beef carpaccio, arctic char, octopus, empanadas, bucatini, ravioli, canestri, Hokkaido scallops, and Rohan duck breast. This was enough to fill up 4 people, and we all have sizable appetites. Drinks were great as well, many enjoyed wine but I found that ‘vodka pays the bills’ was an excellent palate cleansing sort of drink to nurse between courses. If you haven’t been to Customshop, find a reason to go and you will be glad you stopped in. I also have to shoutout Kyle Brown who was so very helpful in helping me organize this dinner. He is a gift to the industry!
