Great food and drinks as always. Best place for Guinness and Fish & Chips. I love the Day Boat Fish & Chips. One of the few places left that actually seasons it. Great waitress to I had being Madison F. Great service and staff and always just great everything. Always a pleasure to stop by and get a few drinks and a bite to eat.

So fresh and innovative Melissa was an amazing server we loved the bluefish spread and beets. Have oysters for sure. Love this restaurant along with Select Oyster. When in Boston do not miss this. If you need to park go to 50 Dalton street garage. So close. Enjoy!!

Everything was fantastic! From the person who seated us and patiently accommodated our indecision about where to sit to our server and the other staff who assisted, we had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and served fresh and hot, in just the right amount of time after we ordered. Our server, Danielle, was so pleasant and attentive from start to finish. Our second round of drinks took a bit long to arrive but the restaurant was busy at that point. Excellent quality of food and drink and portion sizes too. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere, and especially no loud music (that has become a problem at many restaurants). This was our first visit and it won't be our last; we're just sorry we waited so long to try The Buttery.
