Great food and drinks as always. Best place for Guinness and Fish & Chips. I love the Day Boat Fish & Chips. One of the few places left that actually seasons it. Great waitress to I had being Madison F. Great service and staff and always just great everything. Always a pleasure to stop by and get a few drinks and a bite to eat.

So fresh and innovative Melissa was an amazing server we loved the bluefish spread and beets. Have oysters for sure. Love this restaurant along with Select Oyster. When in Boston do not miss this. If you need to park go to 50 Dalton street garage. So close. Enjoy!!

Really great option for grabbing a bite anytime, but especially if you are planning to hit up an event at Road Runner across the street! We made an OpenTable res the night before and were seated immediately when we arrived the next day. Service was lovely- very friendly from all staff we interacted with. My old fashioned was fabulous, if a bit pricy. (Cocktails on the menu appeared to start at ~$17) My husband's blackberry limeade mocktail was also delicious! ($10) we split truffle fries as an appetizer and NO REGRETS!! So tasty. He ordered steak frites and thoroughly enjoyed it (cooked perfectly/as requested) and I had the pan-seared scallops with parsnip puree, brussels and carrots, which was absolutely delicious!! No notes. We decided to split a creme brulee for dessert, which took a while to arrive, but before we even had thought much about it, our server appeared and apologized. She said the ticket never printed in the kitchen for some reason, but they were working on it and it would be right out, on the house. We honestly wouldn't have expected (or even requested) the dessert be comped, but we were chuffed about that one above-and-beyond detail. We left a nice tip (on the original amount, before the comped dessert) and now we will definitely come back to Rail Stop everytime we are headed to a show at RR!! Thank you for your thoughtful customer service. A++!

Everything was fantastic! From the person who seated us and patiently accommodated our indecision about where to sit to our server and the other staff who assisted, we had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and served fresh and hot, in just the right amount of time after we ordered. Our server, Danielle, was so pleasant and attentive from start to finish. Our second round of drinks took a bit long to arrive but the restaurant was busy at that point. Excellent quality of food and drink and portion sizes too. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere, and especially no loud music (that has become a problem at many restaurants). This was our first visit and it won't be our last; we're just sorry we waited so long to try The Buttery.
