Racheal Ray listed us in her "NYC Favorites" and has praised our Shrimp Cocktail, Creamed Spinach, and of course our T- Bone Steaks. The word "Knickerbocker" itself, says "New York". Upon entering, you’ll know you're in the Village. Its wood paneled walls sport rare turn of the century posters and original caricatures by Al Hirschfeld. I moved from a little village in the heart of Ireland over 10 years ago. "The Laurels" was the name given to the local football field where I grew up; where fun was had, experiences shared and memories made. I hope "The Laurels" NYC-version can offer our customers the same!

I haven't been here in years and now I'm asking myself, why?!! The ambience was perfect, very comfortable and cool (on a very hot summer day). The service was very excellent, very attentive staff, and the food was absolutely delicious! Every dish that came out was hot, and they followed our directions and delayed our order of french toast, as we were splitting it for the table, as a dessert. We were there for brunch. Overall, a wonderful experience!!!

Wonderful dining experience. After enjoying an amazing burger and an excellent pisco cocktail during happy hour, I returned to Palermo for dinner with two friends—and all three of us had a fantastic time. The cocktails, including the pisco and pineapple mule, were excellent, and the food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the fresh tuna tartare, luscious beef empanadas, and the incredibly tasty parrillada. The creative bread basket served with the appetizers had some of the tastiest bread and dip I've ever had. If they served that bread a little hot, it would be spectacular! Our server was friendly, prompt, and very helpful throughout the evening. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and lively without being overwhelming. I will definitely be heading back to Palermo, whether solo or with friends.
