My hubby and I have been coming here for several years. It is absolutely one of the finest restaurants we have ever eaten at (and we have traveled and eaten all over the world.) Charming atmosphere, fabulous staff who are knowledgeable, fun, engaging and attentive. The food is phenomenal - delicious and inventive, always fresh. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this restaurant is! Don’t miss it when in New Orleans!

Saffron is always fantastic. Last night, the roasted oysters w/ parmesan and curry leaf, Bombay (fried) shrimp w/ tomato-ginger remoulade, and the Breads and Spreads (chicken pickle, eggplant dip and naan) started things off. Entree was the Nariyal Fish (grilled redfish served on a bed of curd rice over a green coconut korma - so perfectly cooked and a just right balance of flavors. Mr. and Mrs. Vilkhu and their staff go above and beyond to create a truly unique mixture of Creole and Indian food that you won't find anywhere else. Absolutely recommended.

I was in New Orleans for a conference and our party of five had a team dinner at Briquette. It was a fantastic experience: delicious food, attentive service, and an atmosphere conducive to conversation. Just a few minutes from the Riverside Hilton and we felt safe to walk at night. Highly recommend - would definitely return!
