This high-energy bistro took over as Williamsburg's best restaurant as soon as it opened in 2003. The sophisticated but relaxed dining room has an open kitchen, which uses fresh, local ingredients for its creative American fare. Reservations for the dining room and the bar are recommended and may be made up to 61 days in advance. Open daily for dinner, a reservationist is available during the day to take reservations by phone. All reservations are for Fat Canary.     Outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The filet was easily one of the best I've ever eaten--perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. Every detail of the meal exceeded expectations. It's clear the staff takes great pride in providing a first-class experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    Cochon is THE place for a great food and great service! We celebrated our wedding anniversary. Michelle and O'Neal took excellent care of us. The hangar steak was tender and juicy and the flounder was seasoned to perfection! The kale salad and lemon pound cake were both very tasty. Bottom line, if you go to Cochon, you will not be disappointed!

    First time at The Orion's Roof, and what an amazing experience! The environment was so nice, and the scenery of the ocean and Virginia Beachfront neighborhood was breathtaking. The food was absolutely delicious, and our waitress Bridget made us feel so welcome, ensuring we had an amazing time celebrating my wife's birthday. Thank you!

    Our dinners were quite good. The bun of my crab sandwich was black, a bit too grilled. :o( The crabcake was excellent as always. My husband enjoyed his scallops! Our mango sorbet was very good - our favorite.
