A modern take on the great British chophouse, Blacklock Birmingham is nestled inside a beautiful Grade II listed Vicarage on Cathedral Square. We source the best meat in the country from award-winning Cornish farmer and butcher Philip Warren, and cook our chops the simple way, over charcoal, with a little help from our vintage Blacklock irons. NOW OPEN ON TEMPLE ROWKIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar is now open on Temple Row, facing Cathedral Square, bringing handmade sushi, sashimi and a full Japanese kitchen to Birmingham city centre. Every roll is cut to order in an open sushi kitchen you can watch from your seat, alongside steaming bowls of ramen, bao buns, crisp tempura, handmade spiced pork gyoza, sushi and sashimi sharing platters, seasonal specials and A5 grade Japanese wagyu. Hand-painted murals by artist Martyna Sabadasz, created specifically for this site, tell Birmingham’s own story on the walls, alongside digital animation, neon kanji and a basement of plush booths.
