Beatrix is one of my go-tos. Whether it’s a business lunch, catching up with friends, or just treating yourself to a really good meal, Beatrix never disappoints. I’ve been here several times now, and one thing I can say with confidence is that the food is consistently delicious—which honestly feels rarer than it should these days. A few personal favorites: the turkey smashburger is ridiculously good, the chili lime shrimp has just the right kick, and their latte selection is amazing. And if you're like me and you like your dessert like you like your men - then the “Tall, Dark & Handsome” chocolate cake is not to be missed. :) Being downtown, it definitely gets busy during peak lunch hours, but somehow it never feels chaotic. You can actually hear the people you're dining with—no shouting across the table, no blaring music, no terrible acoustics pretending to be “atmosphere.” Just a warm, lively space that gets it right. The drink selection is excellent, the vibe is polished without being stuffy, and every time I’ve been, the service has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I'm a fan!

First of all the food was outstanding. We had 5pp and everyone had a different dish and all comments were this is outstanding. From the appetizers to the incredible drinks, margarita is a must try, all desserts even if full a must try. Service was also outstanding, this place reeks of hospitality. Chris the restaurant manager was beyond accommodating and a true pleasure to talk to, he really took care of us and made us feel special. The hostess team was also warm and welcoming this is a go to place in Chicago especially if your a seafood lover and want to try unique drinks and a very energetic environment adjacent to the river. We will be back.
