Beneath the hotel, a bank vault and offices were occupied by the Manufacturers Trust Company until 1980. Bar Primi is a pasta shop devoted to ‘primi piatti,’ the pasta course. What began as an idea for a small space in New York’s East Village has since become a downtown New York staple, housed on the Bowery for the last ten years.     Everything we ordered was delicious! We sat outside which was so lovely. The steak kebab was melt in your mouth good, highly recommend! Would definitely go back.
