    The meal we’ll still be talking about years from now. We ate very well across Japan, but Okeya Kyujiro stopped us in our tracks. The omakase tells a story, and you feel that with every single course. Every bite was extraordinary, nothing like anything we’d had before. The head chef/owner was so warm and kind, and the food he creates is just amazing. Watching him and his team work feels like a privilege. If you make one reservation in Kyoto, make it this one

    Our chef Yuki was incredible. She explained every dish she was making and prepared them expertly. She was a delight and a wonderful addition to an amazing meal. The views of Kobe harbor from the restaurant are fantastic especially after sunset when the lights of the city come on. The food and service were both top notch. A fantastic experience I can’t wait to have again!
