I met an old friend who lives in Europe at my favorite restaurant in Washington, DC. Service was excellent starting with the Valet Parking guys. We were warmly welcomed back to the restaurant. Server Nicole B. did a phenomenal job. She never made us feel rushed. But she also had the skill of letting us know she was around if we wanted to order the next course or needed anything. I found a reasonably priced bottle of wine by looking at the Wine List at the highly rated interesting reds. The sommelier stopped by the table to make sure we loved it... and we did. Thanks to all who made it a very special meal catching up with my dear friend and former colleague.

Fantastic food and service at this downtown Mediterranean gem. The staff seated my part of seven at a round table with a beautiful view out the window. The food was excellent, including the chocolate cake and ice cream with a candle the waitress brought out for my birthday. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, nice and small menu so they focus on flavor, and excellent service at Lucky Danger. Went with my family of 5, including 3 small kids, they were so welcoming and had our table ready to go including with the highchair I requested in the reservation. The service was friendly, timely, and accurate. We did the orange chicken, chicken chow mein, beef dumplings, and egg rolls. All were fabulous and had even my picky eaters asking for more. One of the lovely servers noticed my four year old trying his hand at chopsticks and made him a set of “learning” chopsticks to keep practicing. That was above and beyond kindness. It was a great experience, absolutely will be back.

We always enjoy going to old Ebbett Grill anytime we’re in Washington DC, but today’s meal had to probably be one of the best ever. The new Mr. Banks scallops is a new menu item and a favorite among my wife and I. It was a great blend of scallops, gnocchi, and vegetables. I had the fried chicken rice bowl, which was delicious and flavorful. The chocolate bread pudding is a must and my son enjoyed the steak and Fritz
