    Our party of four was seated before our reservation time. Our waiter was attentive and very polite. I ordered the filet mignon and it was perfectly done and so delicious! My husband and his friend had jambalaya and they loved it! The fourth member of our party had the turkey pot pie and it was amazing! Mt. Vernon Inn never disappoints!

    I was seeking out a place to have breakfast on the spur of the moment and found this place online. I made a reservation online but upon my arrival, none was required. I was greeted and seated by a friendly staff member and was informed of some of the better menu options. We were very pleased with our orders and the portions were extremely healthy, as promised. The price points were reasonable and worth the meals that we ordered. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have an exceptional breakfast experience in the D.C. area.
