    Love the new menu for May! So many great things to choose from. The Rigatoni is so well (hand)made and tasty. Olives and Focaccia are a fabulous starter with their amazing drinks/wine and the Meatballs are by FAR, the best we've had anywhere in Portland. We could live off those dishes...yum! The staff is wonderful and make the experience a great one for us. Its out go-to place several times a month!

    We went for lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day a day early so we could skip the crowds. We had a window table with a spectacular view of the river, Mt Hood, Mt St Helen’s and surrounding green. Everyone from the valet to the wait staff were very cordial and accommodating. We ordered off the dinner menu and I had the prix fixe salmon with crab and is was so delicious. My daughter-in-law had the New York strip steak. She said hers was superb too. Our cocktails were divine as well. Our server knew when to leave us alone and when to check in. We were able to be leisurely. It was a great lunch and we had the best time. Can’t wait to go back!

    The room is beautiful and welcoming. The service is always excellent, the staff knowledgeable and attentive in just the right way without being too much or too little. And the food is amazing. An extensive list wines by the glass, and some delicious non-alcoholic options that are given the same kind of crafting as their boozy cocktails. This remains one of my favorite restaurants in Portland!

    I had the absolute best dinner at Portland City Grill. My jambalaya was so fresh and full of flavor. A little spicy with complimentary flavors that already has me craving this dish again. The crème brûlée was also done to perfection. Got a reservation the same day with no problem mid-week. We were seated at a table with a gorgeous view of the city and listened to live music that was an unexpected and added bonus! Our server was professional and informative without being pushy. Can’t wait to return when visiting Portland again.
