Excellent food, great atmosphere, superb drinks. The service is what really stood out. Top notch, attentive, friendly, and super accommodating for food sensitivities like gluten free. Highly recommend.

The food the service was impeccable. If you sit in the back, the noise level is reduced tremendously.

Having been a huge fan of the old 1776, We decided to give the new ownership a chance to amaze us. And did they ever! First, we arrived at 5:30 pm on the Tuesday after Mother's Day and the expectation was that the restaurant would be at best half filled. Not so!. Packed with happy guests. Our server John was smartly kept on. He greeted us and remembered us. He praised the new upgraded eatery and we found out he was spot on. The portion sizes and flavors exceeded our expectations. My wife and I both had the escargot. Smartly prepared in an excellent sauce, it was aces. My wife had the filet mignon which was expertly prepared for flavor and the steak could not have been better. I had the lobster ravioli and could not believe how good the entre was prepared. The raviolis were accompanied with what had to be at least a pound of seafood. We didn't have any room left for desert, but decided to order the raspberry parfait. The goblet that came to the table would have satisfied a party of four. We will always be loyal customers. Keep up the great work.

The tasting menu this week was phenomenal. I had the fried pork chop, greens and mashed potatoes. The greens were absolutely the surprising star, though everything else was delicious. Sweet and Smokey, I’d have those every week if they were available. The key lime pie and napoleon were also delicious. Service was absolutely tops and drinks including wine were great. No better value for delicious food and beverages at the beach!

We went on a recommendation from a friend and we’re so glad we did! Delicious food, quick service, relaxed atmosphere, close to the boardwalk… it was perfect for us. We will be back.
