Theodosia has quickly become one of my favorite spots on the Outer Banks. From the moment we walked in, the decor set the tone. Elegant, warm, and thoughtfully designed, with a coastal touch that never feels overdone. It's the kind of space that makes you want to linger over dinner. The food was outstanding. Every dish felt carefully crafted, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. You can tell there's real skill and care in the kitchen. Nothing tasted like an afterthought; each course was a highlight in its own right. Our server, Dante, made the night even better. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm, the kind of service that makes a great meal feel like a great experience. Theodosia is a wonderful addition to the OBX dining scene, and I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend requesting Dante if you get the chance!

Beautiful restaurant with an ocean view in a historic hotel with really great service.

Excellent food and service, views from the restraint are stunning at sunset, would recommend to anyone visiting Virginia Beach, my first visit and I will be back!

Our experience was outstanding. The person who seated us was warm and welcoming. The server was excellent and made sincere recommendations. The food was outstanding in every way. The Elk, which was recommended by the server, was one of the best meat dishes I can remember ever having. Just outstanding. It is a really excellent restaurant.

Our recent experience at Proof was outstanding. Celebrated family birthdays and anniversary. The staff provided excellent cuisine, professional service and more than a welcoming atmosphere. Shoutout to Gillian who took excellent care of us and Andrew, the owner, who stopped by to talk. It was the first day of their new seasonal menu and we tried several dishes. The crab dip appetizer , the shrimp and pasta and the gnocchi main dishes were exceptional. Don’t pass up the tiramisu. Hands down the best any where.
