Nebo Lodge is a small inn and restaurant on the unbridged island of North Haven, Maine. Dining at Nebo Lodge requires a boat ride to reach North Haven. The Maine State Ferry does not accommodate dinner reservations as the last ferry departs North Haven at 3:45pm. A couple notes about the Taverna-We stop taking day of reservations after 4pm. Please call the restaurant after 4pm.We do not accept parties of 4 people or more. We are a small restaurant with only 22 seats and cannot accommodate larger parties. Established in April of 2015, The Taverna serves authentic Greek fare while remaining true to our Greek roots. Our menu highlights what is available to us locally and seasonally. Our wine list is one of the largest all Greek wine lists in the United States which features natural, orange and organic wines.     We were so incredibly blessed to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Pomelia this week. From start to finish, the experience was truly exceptional. I had to change our reservation last minute, and they were so gracious and accommodating. It was our first time there, and they treated us like royalty the entire evening. The staff went above and beyond in the most thoughtful ways — they brought out a special appetizer from the chef, our waitress was unbelievably kind and hospitable, and she even hand-signed a birthday card for my husband (shoutout to Marybeth, you are the best.) At the end of dinner, they surprised him with a cannoli and candle to celebrate. We also had our boys with us, and they both received a little Lego packet to help entertain them during dinner, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was INCREDIBLE, but honestly, it’s the service and genuine hospitality that will keep us coming back. You just don’t experience this level of kindness very often anymore. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday feel so special and memorable!

    The food was spectacular. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service could not have been better. Everyone was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The view was perfect. It was a fabulous date night!
