The patriarch of the Murdaca family, Pietro Murdaca, opened the original location on Cernon Street shortly after immigrating from Southern Italy.     Service was outstanding! Our server, Athena, was warm efficient, knowledgeable. When one of us had questions on ingredients, she went and checked and offered alternatives. The food was amazing - Zucchini fries were light and addictive, the autumn pear cocktail delightful (and how they carry them when filled to the brim is amazing), and the butter cake is a must have. We all enjoyed our various entrees. It was my first visit and won't be my last. And I will ask for Athena every time!
