The hostess was the highlight of our evening- they were welcoming, accommodated us at an earlier time, acknowledged our celebration, and kindly stored our bags. They were such a pleasant welcome to the restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious as well. Didn’t love the close seating quarters but overall great experience.

We ordered the picanha and polpo to start. So delicious. The spaghetti and lumache did not disappoint. Ended the evening with the black sesame tiramisu - so creamy and moist. Nice way to end our last night in NYC. Can’t wait to come back again

The team provided absolutely world class service! We were there to celebrate a friend’s 17 years in NYC anniversary and wondered what could possibly go right if we book at Union Square Cafe. But Ethan, Ian, Kaitlin and Craig went above and beyond to make our meal unforgettable!

This is a cozy bistrot-type restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Service is courteous and the price/quality ratio excellent. I had their signature seafood Tom Yum Hotpot, which is truly delicious, with a glass of good Loire Sauvignon, and a cocktail which was as good looking as good tasting. I will definitely go back for more!
